CDM Co-ordinators

P A Safety Management Limited has the necessary experience, credentials, knowledge and ability to fulfil the responsibilities of CDM Co-ordinator as set out in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, and is able to provide a service which will systematically address health and safety as well as the design, construction and maintenance of projects.

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 came into force on 6 April 2007. The CDM Co-ordinator replaces and extends the Planning Supervisor role which P A Safety Management Limited has fulfilled since its inception.

The role of CDM Co-ordinator is wider in scope and involves advising and assisting clients in undertaking the measures needed to comply with CDM 2007, in particular, the clients’ duties at the start of the construction phase and during it. The role can be summed up as “the client’s adviser in matters relating to construction health and safety”.

P A Safety Management is a registered member of The Association for Project Safety (APS) who ensure that CDM Co-ordinators are trained, monitored and able to provide guidance. In addition, our team of CDM Co-ordinators are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), which is Europe’s leading body for health and safety professionals.
